"Matured initially in American white oak ex-bourbon casks, the spirit is then transferred to 30 year old Matusalem oloroso sherry wood casks from Gonzalez Byass, before being finessed in Port pipes from the Douro region in Portugal." Travel retail only.
Distilled 4-1990, bottled 11-2010, #214 of 305 bottles total.
Created in collaboration with Michelin starred chef Daniel Boulud from a mix of Dalmore finished in Muscatel, Madeira and Port wine casks. Limited to 1,000 bottles in the US only.
Cask strength.
Six different woods. "Whiskies matured in ex-bourbon casks, Matusalem oloroso sherry wood, Madeira barrels, Marsala casks, port pipes and Cabernet Sauvignon wine barriques are brought together in perfect harmony."
Matured for 11 years in American white oak, then finished for 6 years in port pipes from Oporto.
Matured using ex-bourbon casks, 30 year old Matusalem oloroso sherry butts and cru Cabernet Sauvignon wine barriques.
Matured 12 years ex-bourbon casks, then finished in three different sherry woods (Amoroso, Apostoles and Matusalem oloroso) for 3 years.
Matured for 14 years in ex-bourbon casks, then finished for 4 years in 30 year old Matusalem oloroso sherry wood.
Matured 9 years in bourbon casks, then half is transferred to other bourbon casks while the other half is put in 30 year old Matusalem oloroso sherry casks for the final 3 years.
