Matured in both American and European oak casks then finished in French Cognac casks. How about that box!
16 years in American oak then finished in Pineau French oak casks.

"Aberfeldy 16 is matured in first-fill, re-fill and re-char Bourbon casks and then finished for six months in deluxe first-fill Oloroso Sherry casks." They lose almost half a cask to the Angel's Share prior to bottling.
